My weight loss journey and going vegan
I’m just your average girl whose on a weight loss journey. So far i’ve lost over 100lbs all on my own! With no surgery or weight loss pill. Pure healthy eating and exercise. It can be done!, I’ve learned a lot about myself on this journey I’m a emotional and stress eater. Will i conquer that? Well lets hope one day i will. Through out this journey I’ve made mistakes LOTS of them but that’s OK! because its all about the learning process and Ive learned from my mistakes. Its not just about shedding pounds or seeing number drop down on the scale (although those things are nice ) but its about learning while your dropping the weight. I’m here to lose this weight for good forever! I never want to see this weight again. Its years and years of scars that i only did to myself. Now that I’ve lost over 100 lbs i still have more weight to lose. I still have a lot more to learn. I started off on weight watchers and lost a good amount of weight on that but i didn’t want to keep paying money to lose weight when i knew i could do it on my own if i worked hard enough!. So after weight watchers i started to learn more and more where my food came from. (Thanks food Inc) So from there i decided I’m giving up all red meat. Then i went to things like pork and turkey.
I did that for a good amount of time. Then i started to buy more and more organic produce and started eating tons of fruits and veggies and less and less meat. (thanks to Fat sick and nearly dead) I went out and bought a juicer and started juicing. So one day i went out an ordered me salad and decided not to have any chicken on my salad. From that point on i said i can do this! I’m giving up all meat! and i did, But i still was eating dairy that was more harder for me to give up then meat. ( Thanks to: Forks over knives ) I made the choice to give up dairy as well. I’m very happy i have made this choice but as you can see i have done it in steps. That’s what i mean about learning on this journey. Find what works for you! and read about nutrition. Im not perfect and i have bad days but you no what Oh well! that’s part of being human.. So far my diet is mostly vegan but i will admit every now and then i will have an egg im aspiring to be a better vegan and i will get there. I’m taking steps that’s all that matters. I’m doing what makes me happy. I’m just an average chick here on my journey and not

Losing weight without a gym membership or expensive shakes can happen because I’VE DONE IT! I exercise at home Mon-Sat i use exercise DVDs, treadmill, weights, walk around the block, anything i can find really. I also make sure i eat a big breakfast to keep me from snacking all day long. Big breakfast-snack-Good lunch-snack-Small dinner. I also bought a dehydrator an dehydrate a lot of snacks and that helps too. This is not about starving yourself you can still be full while on a healthy weight loss journey and living a healthy life style. Try as much as possible to give up processed foods and soda. If you can work on that you will start noting some weight come off more a and more. You will feel so much better about yourself and you’ll want to keep going. Update: I am now 100% vegan and live vegan and mostly a plant based diet
